GELMART INDUSTRIES, INC. in Bentonville, AR seeks a hands-on Accounts Payable Lead to keep vendor invoices accurate, payments timely, and controls strong. You will supervise one AP Support team member and handle month-end close with the Senior Accounting Manager.

You’ll drive process improvements, explore automation ideas, and use ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or NetSuite. Clear vendor communication and cross‑functional collaboration are essential.

Formación

• 8+ years of accounts payable experience, including invoice processing and payment runs.
• Experience supervising or training a support team member.
• Experience matching invoices to purchase orders/receipts; month-end close support.
• Knowledge of payment approvals, positive pay, and separation of duties; ability to escalate concerns when needed.

Responsabilidades

• Receive, code, and enter vendor invoices; match to POs/receipts; obtain approvals; resolve discrepancies before payment.
• Prepare and process scheduled payment runs under approved processes; maintain separation between payment prep and approval.
• Maintain vendor records (setup, updates, W-9s, tax docs); detect duplicates; verify changes.
• Reconcile vendor statements, investigate credits and discrepancies; communicate holds to vendors and internal partners.
• Prepare accruals, reconcile AP to GL, resolve cutoff differences; support audits with the Senior Accounting Manager.
• Assign daily work to AP Support; train and provide feedback; maintain procedures and backup coverage.
• Learn AP system, capture tools, and approval workflows; push for automation to reduce manual entry and improve controls.
• Own EOS scorecard updates for AP measures; report exceptions and corrective actions to the team.
