Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking an Accounts Receivable Team Lead to guide a growing AR function, manage aging and collections, resolve complex account issues, and drive process improvements across the order-to-cash life cycle.

The role partners with customers and internal teams, provides reporting to leadership, and supports staff development, requiring strong Excel skills and SOX awareness in a public company environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Accounts Receivable, accounting, finance, or order-to-cash
• Prior team lead, supervisory, or mentoring experience
• Strong knowledge of AR processes, aging management, collections, and order-to-cash lifecycle
• Experience with a large ERP system
• Intermediate to advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Experience resolving customer disputes and complex account issues
• Ability to analyze AR data, identify trends, and drive process improvements
• Understanding of SOX in a publicly traded company
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Vaco is partnering with a growing organization to hire an Accounts Receivable Team Lead. This role is ideal for an experienced AR professional who can lead a team, manage aging and collections activity, resolve complex account issues, and identify opportunities to improve processes and performance. The AR Team Lead will monitor collection results, support team development, partner with customers and internal teams, and provide reporting and insights to leadership.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Accounts Receivable, accounting, finance, or order-to-cash experience
• Prior team lead, supervisory, or mentoring experience
• Strong knowledge of AR processes, aging management, collections, and the order-to-cash life-cycle
• Experience working with a large ERP system
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables is required
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Experience resolving customer disputes and complex account issues
