Job summary

Johnson Electric invites applications for an Accounts Receivable Intern in Plymouth, Michigan. This 4-month, full-time role supports the AR department across North America, handling invoicing, collections, and data reporting.

You will gain hands-on experience in reconciliations, reporting, and compliance, while working with Sales, Quality, Customer Service, Engineering, and global teams. A BA/BA or pursuing accounting or finance degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or pursuing degree.
• Knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency, including consolidating data from multiple sources and variance analysis.
• Experience using Oracle and Salesforce software (preferred).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate invoices not paid, following up with external and internal customers.
• Track and report regarding samples.
• Reconcile customer accounts.
• Assemble data to support monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports.
• Maintain documentation for compliance reporting and audits.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests.
• Communicate cross-functionally with Sales, Quality, Customer Service, Engineering, and HQ in Hong Kong.
