Job summary

Dorman is seeking an AR Specialist to support overall AR management for an assigned portfolio, coordinating processing of customer payments, credit requests, credits, and deductions.

You will establish memo requests, prepare lockbox receipts, post to customer accounts, and generate reports from receipt to general ledger. You will resolve deductions, interact with customers and sales teams, ensure SOX compliance, and deliver memos, invoices, and statements.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years related experience required; accounts receivable a plus.
• Associates degree in business preferred; or equivalent.
• Experience in AR and customer service is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Establish credit/debit memo requests per policies.
• Prepare cash receipts lockbox and posting receipts.
• Post cash receipts to customer accounts and report to GL.
• Resolve deductions using ERP systems and collection tools.
• Research and follow up on deductions with customers and sales/ops.
• Coordinate with AR Analyst to ensure service and resolve inquiries.
• Process credit memos with SOX-compliant approvals.
• Deliver memos, invoices, and monthly statements per requirements.
• Provide special reports for customers and sales as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
