Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; preferred but not required.
• 1 year progressive accounting experience (A/R) and prior collections experience.

Responsibilities

• Record incoming customer payments via EFT and/or checks.
• Make collection calls to customers.
• Answer incoming customer calls.
• Problem-solve and analyze data.
• Assist and direct customers to the new payment portal.
• Maintain AR aging and ensure aging stays clean; manage accounts over 60 days weekly and report status.
• Provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude.
• Identify payment discrepancies and work with account managers to reconcile.
• Monitor customer accounts for accurate invoicing and payments.
• Update customer records and notes in each account.
• Maintain relationships with customers, team, sales, drivers, and management.
• Prepare documents and reports as assigned.
• Communicate with customers via phone and/or e-mail.
• Maintain documentation for compliance to policies and audits.
• Perform primary and secondary duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned or requested.
