TEC Industrial Ltd in Kingsport, TN seeks an Accounts Receivable & Billing Specialist to ensure accurate customer invoicing, maintain AR records, and support collections to sustain cash flow. This full-time, on-site role collaborates with sales, finance, and customer service to resolve billing discrepancies.

You will review orders, pricing, and contracts, prepare various billings (Time & Material, AIA), monitor aging, and assist with month-end close while upholding internal controls and

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma; associate degree (accounting/finance) preferred.
• Experience in billing, AR, collections, or related accounting function.
• Proficiency with Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
• Familiarity with Time & Material and AIA billing preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work across departments.

Responsibilities

• Create and issue accurate customer invoices in a timely manner.
• Verify sales orders, contracts, pricing, billing terms, and supporting documentation before invoice release.
• Manage recurring billing schedules and maintain organized billing records.
• Prepare Time & Material billings, AIA billings, and invoices using customer-required forms.
• Identify and resolve incomplete documentation, pricing discrepancies, and other billing issues.
