Job summary

ALL Carolina Crane & Equipment located in Raleigh is seeking an Accounting Associate to perform a wide range of accounting, bookkeeping, clerical and office support activities with a focus on Accounts Receivable, Billing and Collections.

This full-time, non-exempt role offers a comprehensive benefits package in a casual office environment and requires solid general office skills, initiative and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Solid general office skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods and operate office equipment and technology.

Responsibilities

• Compile, code, categorize, calculate, tabulate, audit, or verify information or data.
• Enter, transcribe, record, store, or maintain information in written or electronic form.
• Update, verify and maintain accounting journals and ledgers and other financial records.
• Assist in month end reporting procedures.
• Use accounting data to resolve accounting problems and discrepancies.
• Track and audit petty cash; assist with employee expense reports.
• Prepare checks, payments and bank deposits.
• Reconcile or report discrepancies found in records.
• Match purchase/work order forms with invoices and record information.
• Ensure accurate tracking, monitoring and recording of all charges and entries.
• File and maintain records.
• Transmit information to colleagues or customers via computer, mail, or fax.
• Answer incoming calls and provide excellent customer service.
