Job summary

Sysco is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to support the finance team by processing and posting customer invoices and payments and handling related AR tasks.

You will reconcile balances with the sales team, resolve invoice discrepancies, print and email statements, and prepare monthly AR reporting. Strong Excel and Word skills, plus clear written and verbal communication, are essential for this role. Entry level with 1 year accounting knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; degree in finance/accounting preferred.
• 1 year accounting knowledge preferred; entry level.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, reconcile and process all customer invoices.
• Correct/resolve invoice discrepancies/issues.
• Reconcile short pays and skipped invoices.
• Scan/File all customer invoices.
• Apply cash/checks to customer accounts.
• Print, email customer A/R statements.
• Prepare A/R reporting (monthly, ad hoc, etc).
• Collaborate with sales on balances and collections.
• Assist with all accounting/finance tasks as needed.
• Other tasks as assigned by financial lead.
