Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking an Accounts Receivable Associate to join our onsite Cincinnati team. You’ll handle B2B AR tasks, apply payments, and maintain accurate customer records in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of B2B accounts receivable and/or collections experience.
• Experience with full-cycle accounts receivable processes.
• Experience with customer billing portals (Coupa, Ariba, Billtrust, or similar).
• Strong Excel skills; Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP are a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle E-Business Suite a plus).

Responsibilities

• Apply ACH, check, and credit card payments to customer accounts accurately and timely.
• Reconcile daily payment batches and deposits within the ERP system.
• Submit invoices through customer billing portals such as Coupa, Ariba, and similar platforms.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, short pays, unapplied cash, and customer disputes.
• Maintain accurate customer account records and collection notes.
• Assist with onboarding new customers, including customer setup and portal registrations.
• Complete customer questionnaires and tax exemption documentation as needed.
• Communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances and payment inquiries.
• Escalate credit risks or collection concerns to management.
• Provide backup phone support and assist with other accounting duties as assigned.

• Self-motivated team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
