Job summary

You will liaise with railroad office managers, billing, sales, and operations to resolve delinquencies and improve cash flow. The ideal candidate has strong AR knowledge, excellent communication, and analytical skills, with experience in Excel and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts receivable, collections, reconciliations, and disputes.
• Strong verbal and written communication with customers and internal teams.
• Ability to analyze aging, identify risk, and resolve payment issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio of customer accounts to ensure timely invoice collection.
• Review aging reports and prioritize collection efforts by risk and delinquency.
• Contact customers by phone, email, and virtual meetings to obtain commitments.
• Investigate delays due to billing errors, missing invoices, or PO issues.
• Collaborate with office managers, billing, sales, operations, and cash apps.
• Prepare collection updates, aging summaries, and status reports for management.
• Identify opportunities to improve AR processes and reporting.
