Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
Experience with journal entries, close processes, and variance analysis.
Clear communication and collaborative/teamwork skills.
Background checks and pre-employment screening required.

Responsibilities

Assist in closing and reporting, including journal entries and GL reconciliation.
Coordinate with departments and provide financial support for railroads.
Analyze financial reports related to reserves, assets, and expenditures.
Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with policies and internal controls; support audits.
Contribute to special projects and overall team objectives.
