Job summary

CFS in Michigan seeks an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a small accounting team in Three Oaks. You will work with three staff in the accounting department to ensure accurate ledgers and timely payments.

The role handles processing payments, client follow-up, and reconciliation, with additional support for month-end close and payroll tasks. A degree in accounting or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience in Accounts Receivable is valued.
• Advanced Excel skills, including filters.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and enter payments, apply cash payments.
• Friendly follow-up calls to customers to follow up on accounts.
• Respond to customer account inquiries, reconcile discrepancies.
• Assist with the month-end process - reconciliations, journal entries.
• Assist with Accounts Payable and Payroll.
