Job summary

CHASE Staffing is seeking an Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist to support customer accounts, collections, vendor payments, cash management, and month-end reconciliations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and has recent A/R experience in distribution or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist

$24-$27 per hour Depending on experience

CHASE Staffing is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist to support customer accounts, collections, vendor payments, cash management, and month-end reconciliations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, provides excellent customer service, and has recent A/R experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable Create and send customer invoices, statements, credit memos, and account adjustments. Manage daily chargeback debits and credits and maintain accurate customer account balances. Apply customer payments and cash receipts, and resolve unapplied or misapplied payments. Follow up on past-due accounts, including balances more than 90 days overdue, and document collection efforts. Research and resolve billing discrepancies and customer account inquiries professionally. Prepare A/R aging, cash receipt, and other reports for management.
• Accounts Payable and Accounting Support Process vendor payments and employee expense reports accurately and on time. Monitor company expenses and maintain accurate payment records. Enter cash receipts and assist with bank balancing and cash management. Reconcile accounts, research variances, and support month-end close. Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, credits, expenses, and account activity. Work with internal teams and provide professional customer and vendor service.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent Accounts Receivable experience, with A/R as your primary position, in a distribution or manufacturing company.
• Accounts Payable, vendor payment, and expense report processing experience.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience using accounting software and Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheets.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
• Ability to research discrepancies and communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Must be comfortable working in the Thornton Road / Fulton Industrial area.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required for travel to and from work.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug test.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
