Route 1 Motorsports on the central coast in Brevard County, Florida, is seeking an experienced accounts payable and title clerk to join a fast-paced dealership. You will process vendor invoices, input bills, manage A/P aging, and assist with month-end closing.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in retail accounts payable, 3 years in motor vehicle title/registration, and strong communication skills. On-site work with a flexible 39-hour week supports work-life balance.

• Communicate with internal staff, vendors, and state agencies clearly.

Work Schedule – Tuesday through Saturday, 7 to 8-hour day, 39-hour week with some flexibility

Route 1 Motorsports located on the central coast in Brevard County, Florida, is seeking an experienced accounts payable and title clerk. Duties Include:

• Processing purchase orders matching to vendor invoices
• Inputting invoices for parts, services, credit card receipts, and recurring monthly bills
• Constant review and maintenance of A/P aging
• Prepare and process vendor check, ACH and credit card payments timely
• Organize and maintain all payables records and vendor database
• Ongoing balance sheet monthly reconciliation of all A/P accounts
• Conduct professional communication with internal staff, vendors and suppliers, both written and verbally
• Effectively and professionally work with vendors to timely resolve billing issues
• Daily reconciliation of cash
• Assist Controller with monthly and yearly closing of books, year-end 1099 processing, and other duties as assigned
• Daily processing of title and registration paperwork within vehicle registration system to transfer ownership for purchasers within required timeframe
• Process and reconcile with A/P system, state fees generated by vehicle registration system
• Timely preparation and submission of out-of-state title and registration documents
• Conduct trips to the local servicing center for title/registration processing as needed
• Conduct professional communication with internal staff and state agencies, both written and verbally
• Effectively and timely work with internal staff to resolve title and registration issues
• Process and maintain dealer tag inventory, company vehicle titles and registrations
• Maintain and order office supplies as needed

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have –

• Basic knowledge of accounting, preferably a minimum of 2 years of experience in retail accounts payable
• Minimum 3 years of experience processing motor vehicle title and registration paperwork
• Organizational skills and professionalism
• Experience working in a vehicle registration system a plus
• Experience working in a dealership environment a definite plus
• High school diploma required, college accounting education a plus
