Job summary

Route 1 Motorsports on the central coast in Brevard County, Florida, is seeking an experienced accounts payable and title clerk to join a fast-paced dealership. You will process vendor invoices, input bills, manage A/P aging, and assist with month-end closing.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in retail accounts payable, 3 years in motor vehicle title/registration, and strong communication skills. On-site work with a flexible 39-hour week supports work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of accounting and at least 2 years in retail accounts payable.
• Minimum 3 years of experience processing motor vehicle title and registration paperwork.
• Strong organizational skills and professionalism.
• Experience with vehicle registration systems is a plus.
• Dealership environment experience is a definite plus.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders and match to vendor invoices.
• Input invoices for parts, services, and recurring bills; maintain A/P aging.
• Prepare vendor payments (check, ACH, credit card) timely.
• Maintain payables records and vendor database; reconcile A/P monthly.
• Assist Controller with month/year-end closing and 1099 processing.
• Process title and registration paperwork within required timeframes.
• Communicate with internal staff, vendors, and state agencies clearly.
