Jobgether is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor in the United States to oversee daily AP operations, lead a team of AP professionals, and ensure accurate and timely payments. You will strengthen vendor relationships, maintain controls, and support financial reporting across the organization.

The role emphasizes process improvement, collaboration with procurement and finance, and participation in month-end and year-end close activities to contribute to accurate financial health and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; relevant experience may be considered.
• 5–7 years of accounts payable experience; 8–11 years preferred.
• Experience managing accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment administration, expense report reviews, vendor reconciliations, and discrepancy resolution.
• Supervisory experience coordinating daily team activities and supporting performance management.
• Knowledge of financial reporting, aging analyses, reconciliations, and close procedures.
• Understanding of internal controls and compliance to mitigate risk.
• Ability to assess workflows, implement improvements, and maintain accuracy and productivity.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration across finance and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounts payable operations and ensure vendor invoices and payments are processed on time.
• Review and authorize payment batches and vendor reconciliations with proper documentation.
• Lead and develop the AP team through training and performance guidance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce errors and boost efficiency.
• Resolve discrepancies and vendor inquiries in collaboration with procurement and finance.
• Prepare AP reports, aging analyses, and support cash flow forecasting.
• Maintain internal controls and compliance; assist audits and periodic closes.
• Plan workloads and priorities; escalate complex issues to management as needed.
