Job summary

Qlarant is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead our AP team and ensure timely, accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments. You will supervise a team, uphold internal controls, and collaborate across departments to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.

The role focuses on managing the AP cycle, preparing reporting on aging and cash flow, and supporting month-end close. Strong leadership and process-focus are essential for success in this not-for-profit

Qualifications

• Experience supervising accounts payable staff or teams.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing invoices.
• Knowledge of vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates daily activities of the accounts payable team to ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Reviews and approves payment batches, expense reports, and vendor reconciliations to maintain accuracy and compliance.
• Develops and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors within the accounts payable function.
• Collaborates with procurement, finance, and other departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries.
• Prepares and maintains reports related to accounts payable metrics, aging, and cash flow forecasting.
• Ensures adherence to company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements related to accounts payable.
• Trains, mentors, and evaluates accounts payable staff to foster professional development and high performance.
• Assists with month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and audit support.
