Job summary

DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE in Arizona is seeking a Supervisor, Accounts Payables to lead the Expenditure Accounting function and a four-person team. Responsibilities include AP processing, fixed assets, travel coordination, payroll updates, and ensuring timely, accurate transactions.

Remote work within Arizona may be available based on performance and department needs; strong GAAP knowledge and supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP and government accounting principles.
• Experience with financial systems and audits.
• Ability to supervise staff and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounts payable processing and related tasks.
• Supervise a team of four direct reports and conduct 1:1 coaching.
• Coordinate travel, payroll, fixed assets and accounting postings.
• Ensure compliance with laws and internal controls.
