Job summary

Rex Moore Electrical & Systems Contractors & Engineers seeks an Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead the AP team, ensure accurate processing of invoices, payments and vendor accounts, and drive process improvements.

You will supervise the AP staff, balance workloads, resolve issues, and support audits while partnering with Purchasing, Project Accounting and Operations to optimize AP workflows. Travel to other offices may be required.

• Strong Accounts Payable and basic accounting knowledge.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and support to the AP team, ensuring priorities and deadlines are met.
• Prioritize workload and ensure invoices, payments, and AP tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Train and onboard new AP staff and coach existing team members.
• Monitor performance, accuracy, productivity, and process adherence.
• Escalate issues to management with recommended solutions as needed.
• Oversee vendor invoices, purchase orders, subcontractor invoices, and expenses.
• Ensure proper documentation, coding, approvals, and PO alignment.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Project Accounting, and Operations to resolve issues.
• Maintain AP records and support internal/external audits.
