Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 3 years of supervisory experience in Accounts Payable.
• Ability to track activities and meet deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate the workflow and duties of an accounts payable team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, develop, request and review changes within the accounts payable department.
• Apply proper accounting principles and internal controls in AP operations.
• Coordinate and monitor AP department production.
• Communicate effectively with Officers, Vendors, and Field personnel.
• Supervise vendor payments and ensure timely processing with proper documentation.
• Oversee and review month-end accounts payable processing.
• Complete special assignments for the Accounts Payable Manager and VP Controller.
• Work well under pressure and maintain quality results.
