Job summary

Leoforce is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead the Accounts Payable team, oversee month-end close, and ensure audit readiness in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This permanent role requires accounting leadership, strong Excel proficiency, and timely, accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, have at least 2 years in supervisory accounting, and may possess a CPA/CMA designation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in an accounting supervisory role.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication, both written and verbal.
• CPA or CMA designation preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of the Accounts Payable staff, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.
• Contribute to audit readiness by ensuring records are accurate, complete, and compliant with accounting principles and policies.
• Collaborate with internal departments to streamline accounting procedures and operations.
• Monitor and analyze department work to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Prepare and present financial reports highlighting trends or issues.
• Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance workflow.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior accounting staff.
