Brower Mechanical in Rocklin, CA is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to ensure timely payment of invoices, manage outgoing payments, and maintain accurate financial records. You will process invoices, prepare payments, and communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and experience with accounting software. This is a full-time, on-site position in the Rocklin area with potential overtime during peak periods.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Proven experience in accounts payable or similar financial roles.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAGE Intacct, Stampli) and MS 365 apps including Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Proactively identify and address issues, suggest process improvements, and take ownership of tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with vendors and internal teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Invoice processing: review and process invoices with PO/receipts, verify billing accuracy, resolve discrepancies.
• Payment preparation: run payments (checks, ACH, wires) and optimize cash flow with early-payment discounts.
• Vendor communication: respond to inquiries, gather banking information, W-9s, and payment details.
• Recordkeeping: maintain accurate AP records and file documents.
• Reconciliations: assist monthly/year-end AP reconciliations and verify vendor statements.
• Corporate credit cards: record transactions, reconcile, and manage card issuance/limits.
• Business licenses: process requests and renewals.
• Expense reporting: verify employee expenses per policy.
• Reporting: assist AP reports, aging, and audits.
