Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent years of progressive work experience, required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 4+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable.
• Experience operating daily in an ERP system (QAD or similar).
• Solid understanding of general ledger, internal controls, and SOX requirements.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety and accurate processing of all AP tasks.
• Process purchase order invoices using 3-way match.
• Review invoices for documentation and approval prior to vouchering.
• Interface with shipping, purchasing and receiving to ensure proper receipt into ERP.
• Maintain 1099 forms and respond to vendor inquiries.
• Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies.
• Month-end accruals for Accounts Payable and provide month-end support.
