Job summary

Shane Co. is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Home Office team in the Denver area. This on-site role handles invoice entry, coding to GL accounts, and timely payments, with emphasis on accuracy and process discipline.

You will code invoices in SAP, route for approvals, and manage payments via checks, wires, and ACH. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years AP experience, data entry skills, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of accounts payable experience.
• Data entry/10 key experience required.
• A/P software experience and payment processing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Code and enter invoices into SAP.
• Distribute invoices for approval and retrieve for payment.
• Perform check runs, wires, and ACH payments.
• Maintain and update vendor records.
• Monitor vendor statements and past due invoices.
• Process expense reports in Certify.
• Assist auditors with year-end tax returns.
• Reconcile AP GL accounts.
• Prepare 1099 forms.
• Provide AP reporting as requested.
