Ball Horticultural Company seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist to efficiently process invoices and payments, ensuring accurate postings and prompt vendor disbursements. The role involves resolving discrepancies, managing expense reimbursements, and supporting year-end closing with the AP team.

You will interact with vendors, purchasing, and internal partners, requiring strong data entry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle high-volume periods with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's degree or equivalent work experience in accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of accounts payable and related accounting experience.
• Proficient in SAP, Excel, and Outlook; Concur, Esker and SharePoint a plus.
• Ability to communicate clearly with vendors, team members, and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Verify and process non-purchase order invoices via Esker.
• Audit seed-related invoices in the ERP system.
• Investigate vendor posting issues and resolve discrepancies.
• Create employee profiles in Concur and process expense reimbursements.
• Code and verify transactions and journal entries.
• Run scheduled payments in ERP and initiate wire transfers.
