Job summary

Sunrise Systems, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk in Secaucus, NJ to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and creditor payments. You will work closely with the accounting team to maintain clean AP records and uphold internal controls.

Daily tasks include recording payment transactions, reconciling vendor accounts, and processing outgoing payments in line with financial policies. A minimum of 2 years in accounting and SAP ERP knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in accounting/finance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Process day-to-day payment transactions and verify AP data.
Process outgoing payments in compliance with policies.
Reconcile the AP ledger to ensure postings are accurate.
Verify discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and statements.
Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
Understand expense accounts and cost centers.
Disburse petty cash by recording entries and verifying documentation.
Reconcile, collect, and process monthly credit card statements.
Document and process USCBP invoices and refunds.
Report use taxes on paid invoices.
