Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience in accounting or AP.
• Experience processing invoices, vendor payments and reconciliations.
• Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and AP processes.

Responsibilities

• Process and match invoices to receipts and purchase orders.
• Prepare batches of invoices and data entry.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Manage weekly check run and prepare vendor checks for mailing.
• Verify AP transactions comply with policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate accounts payable records and vendor information.
• Assist with annual audits and with the Accounting Manager.
