Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for a fully onsite role in Minneapolis, MN. The position is a contract to hire with a pay range of $25.00-$30.00 per hour.

You will review and process vendor invoices, match to POs, reconcile statements, and support month-end close while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor's degree and accounts payable experience, with MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous accounts payable experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and account balances.
• Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable records.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and account reconciliations.
• Monitor outstanding payables and ensure adherence to payment terms.
• Support audits by providing documentation and requested information.
• Collaborate with internal departments to obtain approvals and resolve invoice issues.
