Job summary

Connect Search LLC seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a four-month contract in Onalaska, WI. You will support daily AP activities and help staff transition to new expense software and a purchasing card program.

The ideal candidate has 2–3+ years of AP experience, strong communication skills, and comfort with technology. This is a fully onsite role requiring local candidates.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2–3+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Comfort learning new technology and supporting software implementations.

Responsibilities

• Support daily accounts payable operations and general AP processing activities.
• Assist employees with the transition to new expense reimbursement software.
• Provide training and troubleshooting support for employees adopting a new P-card program.
• Serve as a resource for questions regarding financial systems, processes, and procedures.
• Help facilitate software adoption with hands-on instruction and ongoing assistance.
• Perform general office and clerical duties to support departmental operations.
• Collaborate with onsite and remote team members to maintain efficient workflows.
• Apply critical-thinking and problem-solving to address routine issues.
• Assist with additional Accounts Payable responsibilities as needed.
