Job summary

ht h companies is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to accurately process invoices and manage multi-entity AP workflows in the Midwest.

You will match invoices to POs, maintain vendor records, and support weekly payments including ACH runs and month-end close. The role requires 1–3 years of AP experience, strong Excel skills, and attention to detail. OSHA 10 training is required within 60 days of starting. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel (sorting/filtering, lookups, pivots a plus).
• Understanding of three-way match, A/P aging, accruals, 1099 reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and process invoices and statements in a timely and accurate manner.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts to ensure pricing, quantities, and terms are correct.
• Set up and maintain vendor records (W-9, insureds, ACH) and respond to vendor inquiries.
• Prepare and process weekly check runs and ACH payments; assist month-end close.
• Assist with 1099 filings and cross-entity accounting efforts.
