Pella Windows & Doors of the Carolinas and Southwest Virginia is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support accounting operations across multiple businesses. You will manage vendor invoices, code entries, and payments, ensuring timely processing and accurate records across the company family.

The role emphasizes thoroughness, compliance, and collaboration with internal teams to improve AP processes and year-end 1099 tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience independently managing full-cycle AP.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
• Ability to manage deadlines across multiple businesses.

Responsabilités

• Receive, review, code, and enter vendor invoices into the appropriate company and general ledger accounts
• Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation, where applicable, and obtain required approvals
• Prepare payment runs in accordance with vendor terms, payment schedules, and company policies
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate vendor records and collect required documentation, including Forms W-9
• Support month-end close and provide information for expense accruals
• Provide documentation for audits and other accounting requests
• Identify opportunities to improve accounts payable processes and efficiency
