Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in accounts payable.
• Valid driver's license if driving for ECS subsidiaries.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounts payable process and vendor payments.
• Maintain and update AP records; generate aging reports as needed.
• Prepare and post payment journals for the weekly check run.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between subledger and GL.
• Address and resolve payment discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist with monthly credit card reconciliation.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data for accurate reports.
• Support audits with necessary documentation and explanations.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
• Assist with annual 1099 process.
• Collaborate with other departments for accurate reporting.
• Support ad-hoc financial projects and process improvements.
