Job summary

Journey is seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team in Noblesville. You will manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensure timely invoice processing, maintain vendor relationships, and support month-end close.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of AP experience, an associate degree in accounting or finance, strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication. Knowledge of the long-term care industry is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in the long-term care industry.
• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Invoice Processing: Accurately process a high volume of invoices, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
• Vendor Management: Maintain and update vendor records, resolve discrepancies, and address inquiries.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable with general ledger on a regular basis.
• Month-End Close: Assist in month-end activities, including accruals and reporting.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal controls.
• Collaboration: Work with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
