Job summary

University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) is seeking an Accounts Payable Technician to process invoices, check requests, and travel expense reports using the Banner system. The role reports to the Accounts Payable Manager.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of accounts payable or data entry experience, plus strong communication and confidentiality, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years of accounts payable, bookkeeping, and/or data entry experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable processes.
• Ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and check requests accurately and timely.
• Handle general travel expense reports.
• Use Banner system to process transactions.
• Maintain vendor files and purchase orders.
• Report to Accounts Payable Manager.
