Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will process and code vendor invoices, reconcile statements, and support payment processing while maintaining accurate vendor records to ensure timely payments.

You will collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies, handle credit/debit memos, and assist with freight costing.

Qualifications

• Previous accounts payable experience required.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient with accounting software and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process and code vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate payment discrepancies.
• Handle credit memos, debit memos, and inventory cost adjustments.
• Support weekly check runs and payment processing.
• Maintain vendor records and track outstanding credits.
• Partner with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues and answer questions.
• Assist with freight costing and sales order support.
• Build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
