Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, accounting, or a related financial role.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, financial controls, and general accounting principles.
• Proficiency in ERP or accounting software (NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests with proper approvals and policy compliance.
• Review, reconcile, and resolve invoice, payment, and vendor account discrepancies promptly.
• Process ACH, wire, and check payments while maintaining complete documentation.
• Perform account reconciliations, maintain vendor statements, and assist with month-end close.
• Monitor aging reports and customer balances, initiating collection activities as needed.
• Assist with cash application and ensure payments are accurately recorded.
• Prepare reports related to accounts payable, collections, and aging balances.
• Collaborate with internal departments, vendors, and customers to resolve issues.
• Support audits with documentation and transaction details.
• Assist with process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency.
