Job summary

Revelyst is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join the accounting team in California. This onsite role will handle full-cycle AP, journal entries, reconciliations and month-end close under the AP Manager's supervision.

You will work with SAP, Oracle and NetSuite, manage vendor data, assist auditors, and ensure timely payments while maintaining accuracy and internal controls. Irvine or Carlsbad based, 4 days/week on-site.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of standard accounts payable policies, procedures, internal controls and A-/P related regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong Excel skills required.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems.
• Ability to organize and prioritize and to meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and professional interaction.
• Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
• Must have multiple companies work experience.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite (or similar ERP systems).
• Strong organizational ability and time management skills.
• Excellent analytical skills with focus on accuracy and detail.
• Ability to plan, initiate and complete work with minimal supervision.
• Associates/Bachelor’s in Accounting are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete full-cycle accounts payable processing including invoice review, coding, approvals, entry and payment.
• Reconcile PO receipts to vendor invoices.
• Maintain vendor information and 1099 reporting.
• Organize electronic vendor/employee expense files and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with auditors and support audit projects.
• Perform general ledger reconciliations and sub-ledger maintenance.
• Use tax accruals in AP processes.
• Act as AP liaison between departments and vendors for issue resolution.
• Ensure all payments are properly approved per authority limits.
• Participate in AP Month End Close and accrual generation.
• Prepare weekly cash requirements, check runs, wires and ACH payments.
• Maintain wire and ACH templates and filing systems.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
