Job summary

Revelyst is seeking a Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist to manage the full AP cycle at our Irvine, CA office. You will ensure timely payment, accurate GL postings, and strong vendor relations to support cash flow and financial integrity.

The role requires hands-on AP experience, strong Excel and ERP proficiency, and the ability to improve processes with Purchasing and Receiving teams. On-site role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Success in this position looks like strong vendor relationships, clean reconciliations, timely month-end close support, and effective controls that prevent overpayments or missed obligations. The role partners closely with Purchasing, Receiving, and Accounting to streamline processes, maintain compliance, and support accurate financial reporting. By ensuring reliable and efficient payable operations, this position plays a critical role in the organization’s financial integrity, cash flow management, and overall operational effectiveness.This position reports to the Manager of Accounts Payable, and is based onsite at our Irvine, CA office.**As the Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist, you will have an opportunity to:**· Proactively manage all payables and keep vendor accounts in good standing.· Pay invoices on a timely basis, taking early payment terms where possible and ensuring accurate posting date and due dates.· Ensure invoices are posted to the correct General Ledger account.· Reconcile monthly vendor statements and proactively resolve past due invoices.· Identify problems that can occur and seek to improve processes to prevent over-payment or past due invoices that negatively impact our vendor relationships.· Work in conjunction with purchasing and receiving to improve and streamline payable functions and ensure required documentation is in place prior to payment.
