Job summary

Jobot Consulting in San Francisco is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to join a prestigious global investment firm. This hybrid role offers exposure to the full AP lifecycle and vendor management within a collaborative finance team.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of accounts payable experience, advanced Excel skills, and hands-on ERP experience (NetSuite a plus). You will process invoices, code expenses, reconcile accounts, and support onboarding of vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–4 years of accounts payable or accounting operations experience.
• Experience with ERP or accounting software (NetSuite a plus).
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Obtain invoice approvals and ensure timely processing.
• Code and allocate invoices per policies.
• Process recurring payments (checks and ACH).
• Audit expense reports and reconcile corporate cards.
• Onboard and maintain vendors, including W-9/W-8 and verification.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues.
• Assist with banking activities (wire transfers, deposits).
• Support journal entries and expense analysis.
• Maintain fixed asset records and identify process improvements.
• Assist with tax reporting (1099 and sales/use tax).
• Participate in system implementations and process enhancements.
• Develop and maintain AP policies and documentation.
