Job summary

The Franklin County Auditor's Office is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join the Accounts Payable team. This full-time, hybrid-eligible role processes warrants, payments, and invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with ORC regulations.

Starting compensation is $52,790.40 per year, with benefits designed to support health, parking, transit, time off, and professional growth, in a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 6+ months related experience or training; or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Print warrants, audit and post invoices online, and process payments (warrants, ACH, wires).
• Process PO corrections; reconcile invoices to payments in accounting software.
• Assist customers via phone, in person, or email.
• Process outgoing mail and update related spreadsheets.
• Review invoices for ORC compliance and assist vendor setups.
