Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in accounts payable and payroll processing.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Viewpoint Vista).
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and timely entry into the accounting system.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare weekly payment runs (ACH, checks, wires) and maintain payment schedules.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and internal controls.
• Maintain vendor files and support year-end 1099 preparation.
• Assist with quarter-end close activities.
• Complete bank reconciliations.
• Collaborate with project accountants and project managers to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency.
• Properly account for all credit card receipts and transactions.
• Additional tasks as requested.
