Job summary

Golden Entertainment LLC is hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance team. You will process vendor invoices, manage payments, and maintain accurate AP records within a fast-paced hospitality and gaming environment.

You will verify approvals, run weekly payments, and assist with month-end close, all while ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. This role supports vendor relationships and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of accounts payable or related experience; hospitality/gaming industry preferred.
• Strong data entry, invoice processing, and record-keeping accuracy.
• Ability to follow structured processes and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
• Solid organizational and time management skills; good communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office applications; Workday preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and enter financial transactions into the general ledger system accurately and timely.
• Review, match, and enter vendor invoices into the AP system.
• Verify approvals, coding, and supporting documentation per policy.
• Assist with processing weekly payment runs (ACH, checks, wires).
• Maintain organized vendor files and payment records for audits.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries promptly.
• Monitor aging reports and reconcile vendor statements.
• Support monthly close with AP accruals and subledger reconciliation.
• Onboard and maintain vendor information, including W-9 collection.
• Provide documentation for internal and external audits as requested.
• Ensure compliance with gaming laws, internal controls, and Title 31 where applicable.
