The role emphasizes attention to detail, mathematical aptitude, and a high level of customer service while maintaining organized files and responding to inquiries from departments.

Qualifications

• High School graduate.
• No state/federal licensure or certification required.
• General orientation at time of hire; Fire/Safety/Infection Control annually.

Responsibilities

• Produces accurate check runs on a timely basis.
• Gathers information from invoices and enters it into the computer system.
• Matches invoices to purchase orders or receiving documents; resolves discrepancies.
• Creates BAR batches and prepares manual checks as needed.
• Keeps paid bills files and handles incoming mail and inquiries with good customer service.
• Reconciles vendor statements and assists in preparing internal reports.
