Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a manufacturing client. You will process invoices, maintain vendor records, perform three-way matching, and assist with month-end closing to ensure accurate financials.

The position is on-site, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and collaboration with purchasing, receiving, and accounting to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Previous Accounts Payable or accounting experience required.
• Experience with ERP/accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Manufacturing or industrial accounting experience is a plus.
• High school diploma required; accounting coursework or degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and enter vendor invoices accurately.
• Perform three-way matching and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate vendor records and organized files.
• Reconcile vendor statements and communicate with vendors as needed.
• Assist with payments, check processing, and month-end closing.
• Enter and maintain AP information in the company’s ERP system.
• Work with purchasing, receiving, and accounting teams to resolve invoice issues.
