Job summary

MX Holdings is hiring an Accounts Payable Coordinator for our St. Louis, MO location. The role focuses on coding and entering invoices, processing payments, and maintaining accurate ledger entries to ensure timely financial obligations.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of accounting experience or an associate degree in Accounting, with strong data entry, attention to detail, and communication skills. Hybrid work and ongoing professional development are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
• Two or more years of relevant experience or an associate degree in Accounting or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Enter daily financial transactions by coding and entering invoices into the general ledger.
• Prepare payments and file paid invoice packets.
• Assist with month-end closing by ensuring all monthly transactions are entered.
• Identify transactions not compliant with company policies and escalate.
• Communicate with internal and external suppliers/customers.
• Perform other general accounting duties as assigned.
