HD Fowler Company is seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist to compile and process A/P records at our corporate offices in Bellevue, Washington. The role focuses on approving and coding invoices, processing payments, and maintaining vendor relations in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle credit/debit memos, cost adjustments, and weekly check runs, with 8 paid holidays, benefits, and opportunities for discretionary bonuses and retirement contributions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in accounting/accounts payable.
• 10-key by touch.
• Computer skills with high accuracy and eye for detail.
• Able to prioritize under tight deadlines.
• Able to interact positively with coworkers and customers.
• Able to work overtime when necessary.
• Self-guide work prioritization with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Approve, code and process invoices for payment, cost freight, and issue sales orders.
• Code and process overhead invoices.
• Process credit and debit memos.
• Credit and debit cost adjustments to inventory and sales.
• Balance statements and research payment issues.
• Maintain relations with internal buyers and external vendors.
• Assist in processing weekly check runs.
• Vendor account maintenance and collection of return credits.
