Job summary

Quanex is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Akron, OH or St Cloud, MN. You will process vendor invoices across ERP systems, handle employee expenses in Certify, and assist with month-end closes and journal entries.

The role requires at least 2 years of AP experience, strong Excel and data-entry skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Competitive compensation with bonus potential and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Strong PC software skills including Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Ability to enter data accurately and efficiently.
• Experience with banking or accounting software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Processes vendor invoices in multiple ERP systems.
• Reviews employee expenses in Certify Expense Software for policy compliance and ACH payments.
• Matches checks and transfer advices with invoice details to ensure accuracy.
• Maintains electronic AP files for retention.
• Performs monthly closing activities for accounts payable including journal entries
