Sam Pack Five Star Ford Carrollton is seeking a dependable Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team in Farmers Branch, TX. The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and timely processing of invoices and payments.

Ideal candidates have prior AP experience; automotive dealership exposure preferred. Proficient in Excel and MS Office, with ability to maintain vendor records and support month-end closing.

Qualifications

• Previous accounts payable, or general accounting experience.
• Automotive dealership accounting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Process and enter vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation.
• Verify invoices for proper approvals, coding, and accuracy.
• Prepare accounts payable checks and electronic payments.
• Maintain accurate vendor records and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Post customer payments and receipts to accounts receivable.
• Reconcile customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Assist with daily cash receipts and deposits.
• Reconcile bank and other accounting records as assigned.
• Maintain organized accounting files and documentation.
• Assist with month-end closing and accounting reports.
• Communicate with vendors, customers, and dealership personnel regarding account questions.
• Assist the Controller and accounting team with other duties as needed.
