Job summary

JCMG is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to support medical office accounting functions in Jefferson City, MO. You will enter payment information into computerized accounting software, code invoices, and follow up on vendor statements while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in reporting.

The ideal candidate has high school education and experience with accounts payable; strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Accounts payable processing experience preferred.
• Experience with computerized accounting software desired.

Responsibilities

• Research and complete accounts payable processing.
• Code information in pre-determined categories and enter into accounting software.
• Follow up on vendor statements and resolve payments or errors.
• Maintain reports and files and ensure confidentiality of information.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.
