Job summary

M. J. Electric, LLC seeks an Accounts Payable Clerk to support AP activities within our construction services team.

You will process invoices, reconcile vendor statements, and ensure payments align with terms in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. The role requires a basic understanding of GAAP, strong data entry, and proficient Excel skills; a high school diploma is required, with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• From the UI: basic understanding of GAAP and accounting concepts.
• Strong data entry, multi-tasking, and prioritization abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required.

Responsibilities

• Sort and process company invoices.
• Review invoices for accuracy and completeness.

• Post and scan documents per company procedures and payment terms.
